Inside Operations: A Q&A with Our Operations Supervisor

We decided to sit down with our Operations Supervisor to discuss some of the pressing issues in the printing and packaging industry today and how Triwill Group handles operational challenges while staying flexible and innovative. Here’s what we learned during our conversation.

1. What’s your approach to handling tight deadlines and ensuring quick turnaround times without compromising on quality?

Sarah Taleb: “It is extremely crucial to maintain organization from the very beginning of all orders until they successfully reach the customer. A lot of internal work is put in by all departments to ensure quick turnaround times while maintaining premium quality. Every team member is fully engaged to ensure that deadlines are met without compromising on the quality that our customers expect. Collaboration and clear communication are key factors in meeting these goals consistently.”

2. What are some of the biggest operational challenges in the printing and packaging industry today, and how does Triwill Group overcome them?

Sarah Taleb: “Currently, due to the ongoing crises worldwide, there have been challenges in multiple aspects, including raw material shortages, supply chain disruptions, and quality control issues. At Triwill Group, we do our best to stay up to date with all the changes in the market and maintain 100% transparency with our customers during these difficult times. Our proactive approach to communication helps us manage expectations and continuously adjust to new realities in the supply chain.”

3. What skills and qualities do you believe are essential for leading an operations team in the printing and packaging industry?

Sarah Taleb: “Strong communication skills, leadership, and attention to detail are crucial for anyone leading an operations team. Every day presents a new learning opportunity, and I work to build my leadership skills through constant communication with my fellow colleagues across all departments. The more aligned we are as a team, the better equipped we are to handle challenges efficiently.”

4. What feedback from your customers has had the most impact in shaping your operational strategies?

Sarah Taleb: “The feedback we receive often revolves around our flexibility and ability to cater to customer needs. Being adaptable to regional and global requirements is essential, as we deal with a wide variety of clients from around the world. Our ability to provide a tailor-made, unique customer service experience greatly contributes to the positive feedback we receive.”
